aMatthew is a sinner traveling on his pilgrimage of life who daily receives mercy from his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He has served as a pastor and a youth pastor and feels called to living a life of leading others through the process of discipleship.

Matt has been married to his wife Jen since 2000. Together they have learned how to live as husband and wife, pastor and pastor’s wife, and mom and dad. They have three children who they love dearly: Galadriel Anne, Samuel Peregrin, and Owen Elias Meriadoc.

Matt and Jen live in Fairfield, a small community in southeast Iowa. Fairfield is home to the Maharishi University of Management. The University provides tremendous opportunity to minister to the community. It also means that Fairfield has the best Indian and Thai food in Iowa.

Matthew graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in economics. He currently works full time as a complaints analyst in the compliance department of a firm in the financial industry.

Matthew graduated from Bethel Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree and is currently working toward an MBA in Strategic Leadership.

Matt enjoys literature, Kansas basketball, theology, football, politics, finance, economics, philosophy, and random stuff.
