After confronting God at the burning bush, Moses goes home and talks it over with Jethro. On his way back to Egypt, Aaron greets Moses and takes him before the leaders of Israel. Aaron and Moses go to Pharaoh and ask him to release the Hebrews; the Pharaoh refuses. When the people hear of Moses’ failure they reject him. God then prepares Moses and Aaron to go back to the Pharaoh.

I hate RSV. We are on day 8 in the Clendineng household. In theory it should only last 8-15 days and then we all get better. We’ll see how it goes. All signs point to us getting healthy soon. I can almost swallow without excruciating pain, Sam’s nose isn’t too runny, and Owen has his voice back (nothing is more pitiful than a two month old who has lost his voice). Hopefully I’ll get caught up on blogging today.

Just some stuff I came across this week…
1. Fixing dinner as a spiritual act
2. Top 10 list to the parents of teens
3. The case for conditionalism (the inclusion of this link neither supports nor opposes this view)
4. John Franke’s response to a Christian review of Juno
5. Ben Witherington’s review of “No Country For Old Men”
6. Time standing still at Grand Central station
7. Pachelbel
8. …and some more Pachelbel
9. How households spent their income tax rebates in 2001
10. The Great Moderation
11. Bill Belichick
It looks like my Jayhawks won’t go 40-0; that’s okay. I still think they are the best team in the country. There is no disgrace in losing at Kansas State this year; they are a very good team. Just wait until they come to Lawrence.
Have a great week, and enjoy the Super Bowl!!!
